What’s Not Working?

Plumbing

One slow drain usually points to a clog close to that fixture. When several drains slow down together or a toilet gurgles while another fixture drains, the problem may be farther down the line. No hot water or water showing up where it shouldn’t? Call or text us and describe what you’re seeing.

Heating

One cold room can point to an airflow or zone problem. If the whole house is cold, the issue may be closer to the furnace, boiler, thermostat, or controls. An error code or a photo of the display can give us another useful clue.

Air Conditioning

Warm air or weak airflow doesn’t automatically mean you need a new AC. A dirty filter, thermostat setting, airflow problem, or system failure can create similar symptoms. Call or text us with what changed and when it started.

Not Sure Who You Need to Call?

That’s okay. Describe the problem in your own words—what you see, hear, smell, or feel. We’ll ask a few questions and help you figure out who you need, even if it isn’t us.

Plumbing Help for Repairs, Remodels, and New Construction

Whether something stopped working or you’re planning a larger project, start by telling us what you need. We’ll ask a few questions, explain what needs to happen, and make sure you understand the work before you approve it.

Drain Cleaning

A slow kitchen or bathroom drain is often caused by grease, soap, hair, or other buildup close to that fixture. A gurgling toilet, several slow drains, or a clog that keeps coming back can point to a blockage farther down the line—or an older pipe that needs a closer look. Call or text us with what’s happening, and we’ll help you figure out whether you’re dealing with a simple clog or something larger.

Tankless Water Heater Service

A tankless unit that swings between hot and cold may be dealing with mineral scale, reduced flow, a dirty inlet filter, a flow-sensor problem, or another internal issue. If the problem happens only at one faucet or shower, the fixture may be the better place to start.

For a new tankless system, the number of fixtures used at the same time matters as much as the number of people in the home. Call or text us with the current setup and how the household uses hot water, and we’ll help you understand what size and setup the home may need.

New-Construction Plumbing

Drain locations, venting, water lines, and fixture placement are much easier to work through before concrete, drywall, and cabinets are in place. Early plumbing coordination can prevent a small layout change from becoming a larger change later.

Call or text us with the plans and current construction stage. We can help with plumbing from the rough-in through the final connections and coordinate the work with the rest of the build.

Water Heater Repair and Installation

Hot water that changes temperature doesn’t always mean the tank has failed. Heavy demand, sediment buildup, a thermostat, an electric heating element, a gas burner, or even a shower mixing valve can create similar symptoms. If the problem happens at only one fixture, it may not be the water heater at all.

Age matters too, but it isn’t the only thing that matters. A tank around 10 years old with leaks, rust-colored water, or repeated problems may be a better candidate for replacement than a newer unit with one repairable part. Call or text us before you make the decision, and we’ll help you compare the options.

Remodel Plumbing

Keeping a sink, toilet, or shower in the same location is usually simpler than moving it across the room because the drain, vent, and water lines may all need to change. Bringing the plumber in before cabinets, walls, or floors are finished can help uncover those details early.

Call or text us with the plans, the fixtures you’re considering, and the stage of the remodel. We can help with rough-ins, fixture connections, and the final plumbing work.

Commercial and Property-Management Plumbing

When the same problem shows up in several units or fixtures, it may involve a shared drain, water line, or central piece of equipment—not several unrelated repairs. That pattern is useful to know before the service call.

We can help with repairs, maintenance, installations, and larger plumbing projects. Call or text us with the location, the symptoms, the number of spaces affected, and whether the area is occupied. We’ll tell you when we can help.

Furnace, Boiler, Radiant Heating, and Snow-Melt Service

Most heating calls are for standard furnace systems. JTG also helps with boilers, radiant heating, and hydronic snow-melt systems in Park City, Heber City, Midway, and nearby communities.

Radiant Heating Installation and Repair

Radiant floors warm slowly, so a small thermostat change may take time to feel. A zone that suddenly stays cold while the rest of the home heats normally is a different clue—it may point to trapped air, circulation, a valve, or a zone-control problem.

If every zone is cold, the problem may be closer to the boiler, pump, or main controls. Call or text us with what changed and what the controls show. For a new radiant-heating project, we’ll also look at the area being heated and whether the work is part of a remodel or new construction.

Water Heater Repair and Installation

Snow-Melt Systems and Heated Driveways

When one section of a heated driveway stays cold but another section works, that can point to a loop, zone, circulation, or control problem. If the entire surface stays cold, the issue may be closer to the heat source or main controls.

These systems are easier to check before the first major snowfall than when the driveway is already covered. Call or text us with what the controls show and whether any part of the surface heats. For a new system, reach out while the outdoor layout and construction details can still be planned.

AC Repair, Tune-Ups, Replacement, and Installation

Warm air, weak airflow, nonstop running, and uneven rooms can come from different parts of the cooling system. A dirty filter or blocked airflow can make the AC work harder, while a thermostat, electrical, refrigerant, coil, or equipment problem may create similar symptoms.

AC Repair

Check the thermostat setting and filter first if you’re comfortable doing so. If the AC still won’t cool, call or text us with what changed and when it started. We’ll check the system, explain what we find, and show you what needs to be fixed.

AC Maintenance and Tune-Ups

A dirty filter or coil can reduce airflow and make the AC run longer. A clogged condensate drain can also lead to water around the equipment. A tune-up gives JTG a chance to check those areas before the system is working through the hottest part of the year. Call or text us for the current price and what the visit includes.

AC Replacement and Installation

Age alone doesn’t decide whether an AC should be replaced. Frequent repairs, rising energy use, rooms that never feel comfortable, and a system that can’t keep up all matter. Bigger isn’t automatically better either—an oversized system can turn on and off too often and still leave the home uncomfortable.

Before you replace or install an AC, we’ll look at the home, the current setup, and how the space needs to cool. Then we’ll explain the options and put together an estimate. The goal is a system that fits the home—not simply the largest unit available.

We’ll Help You Choose What Makes Sense

Service Before Sales

We’ll always help you decide what the best option is, even if it’s not us. Our goal is to be your go-to when you need plumbing, heating, or air-conditioning service—not to turn every call into the biggest possible sale.

If a repair makes sense, we’ll tell you. If replacing something would be the better use of your money, we’ll explain why. You’ll know your options, and you make the final decision.

1. Tell Us What’s Happening

Call or text us with the city you’re in, what isn’t working, and when the problem started. If you’re texting, send a photo or short video if it helps show the problem.

2. We’ll Ask a Few Quick Questions

We’ll ask what stopped working, whether the problem is in one place or throughout the home, and what changed before it started. You don’t need technical answers. Just describe what you’ve noticed.

3. We’ll Explain What We Find

Once we’ve checked the problem, we’ll tell you what’s wrong, what needs to be done, and what the work should fix. If there’s more than one option, we’ll explain the difference.

4. You Choose What You Want to Do

Ask as many questions as you need. You decide what works for your home, property, project, and budget. We won’t push you toward work you don’t need.
